Hermes Operating Brief

A lightweight canvas for organizing what Hermes should remember, manage, and publish for Johannes without turning every update into a long chat thread.

Core idea

Dagobert is Hermes' own little web workbench. When Johannes asks for a daily overview, project dashboard, task plan, boat to-do list, or structured status page, Hermes can create or update HTML/data files here and send a short link instead of flooding chat.

Suggested pattern: chat stays for decisions and quick notes; Dagobert holds canvases, dashboards, checklists, archives, and shareable summaries.

How Hermes should use this

  1. When a task or overview would be too long for chat, create/update a page under the relevant Dagobert folder.
  2. Use short Telegram replies with the link plus the one or two key takeaways.
  3. Keep durable facts in Hermes memory; keep detailed task state and dashboards as files here.
  4. Prefer simple static HTML and JSON so pages survive without a build system.
